A few Saturdays ago, my friend Shannon, who lives in Junin
mismo, and I spent an afternoon sitting in the pampa, sharing a beer, knitting,
and chatting. It was truly lovely and I
think it’s those odd moments that I’ll hold onto in the years to come.
